Brian Sweeney

Brian, a former professional baseball pitcher, played for 18 seasons and competed in 5 different countries. He spent parts of 4 years in the Major Leagues playing for the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres, compiling a 4-2 record with a 3.38 ERA and 2 saves. Brian also spent 3 seasons in Japan pitching for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters and pitched for Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic in 2013. After his playing days, he joined the Philadelphia Phillies as a pitching coach in their minor league system where he has the important responsibility of helping future major leaguers reach their potential. Brian has worked at All Stars since 2003.
