After transferring to Florence-Darlington Technical College from a year played at the University of Albany, Christan was drafted in 2012 by the Houston Astros in the 29th round.
He played for the Greeneville Astros for a full season and split time in his second season with both the Tri-City ValleyCats and Greeneville in 2013.
Following his release from Houston in 2014, he played a stint with the Winnipeg Goldeyes in the American Association. The following year, he played for the Brantford Red Sox in the Intercounty Baseball League in Ontario, Canada.
After a successful season, he found himself in Australia playing for the club team South Perth and was quickly promoted to the Perth Heat of the Australian Baseball League for 2015. He began 2016 back with Brantford before suffering a broken pitching arm. Christian will be returning to Brantford for the 2017 season.
